General.
The usual; respect for the all-powerful admin and her staff, respect for the other players, etc.
No, the person who’s charrie hates your charrie’s guts doesn’t hate you. Please act accordingly. =].
This is a PG-13 site. You know the rules. Fade to black is a must, no extensive swearing, warning in the title, etc.
OOC stands for Out of Character. I don’t want to see tons of this in IC (In Character) role-plays. If you need to make an important comment or anything, you have my blessing, but if you’re discussing your fav. TV shows and typing three word posts, I’m gonna come down on you like a ton of bricks.
NO CHATSPEAK. Most other rules have examples of this. However, I don’t know the “lingo” so I’m going to trust that you do.
Two paragraph posts at minimum, please. Think you can’t handle it? Describe the settings, your character, the other person’s character (if you can), feelings, etc. There is no reason we can’t all type at least that much, even on “low muse” days. In comparison, please, no 1000 word posts either. I DESPISE having to read a novel in a single post, and I’ve noticed that a lot of those kinds of posts are ¾ flibbertigibbet and ¼ something one can respond to. So please. Find a healthy medium. =)
Characters.
First and foremost, no god-moding/power-playing. If I see that, then it’s an immediate warning. I’ll be the judge to what is and isn’t gm or pp.
You can have three characters total. One may be Level 3. ONE. I may be persuaded to let you have a fourth character, but you have to prove to me that you’re active, a good role-player, and can handle it.
Read ‘the joining form explained’. It contains important info.
I would like an even ratio of characters, but I understand that some people prefer one gender over the other. I know; I’ve only ever played one guy character. But if you are scrolling through the accepted applications and you see that there are five girls and one guy, then please create a guy. However, just so you know, I will never ban a specific gender unless it gets really bad. I will, however ban certain guilds if they become too populated for their type. This will probably never be the case, hopefully, and I will have a list of all the characters and their stats for you to look at for ease of mind.
No Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus! These characters are boring and unacceptable! I understand that enchanters will naturally be more physically appealing than the rest of the weir, but try to balance it as much as possible. You may have three days (unless you post an absence) to correct your bio if I say you must, and then post saying it has been modified. Should it not be corrected to a good standard (go to THIS site to see) than you may have another three days to correct it. After that, I shall either accept it or deny it. Should it be denied, you may continue to work on it, but it will have to be very much improved if you want me to accept it. I’m very lenient with bios; this shouldn’t ever happen. If it does, then you must understand it does need some work if I, your marshmallow admin, want you to fix it.
All guilds are open to both genders. There can be male enchanters and female warriors, for example.
When making/ordering a sig, please use a real person for your character. I don’t want half anime people with white hair and cat eyes wandering around, and half normal people with brown hair and green eyes wandering around. It would look messy, ya know?
